A Standing Invitation

There are a few areas where I might be particularly useful for you, generally at the intersection of marketing, writing, and organic growth:

  • Your digital / organic growth / earned media strategy

  • Building an agency, specifically hiring and coaching

  • Content operations at scale

  • Hiring talented freelance writers and in-house

  • Creating thought leadership and hybrid content

I offer a standing invitation for you to email me about anything that’s on your mind.

I love helping people, answering questions, working with students, discussing ideas, and reviewing work you’ve done.

How This Works

I’m not always on my email game, so let me set some expectations:

These emails will definitely get a response:

  • You send me a personally written email about something that clearly matters to you

  • You send me a direct and interesting email about something that I am well-suited to answer

  • You want me to look at something you’ve made

  • You ask for feedback on an idea

  • You’re interested in working with (or for) me in some way, including mentorship

  • You’d like to include me in a panel or speak at your event (and said event is relevant to my experience)

These emails will sometimes get a response:

  • Vague or long-winded emails

  • You’re a recruiter (I’m not looking for work, but I may introduce you to people I know who are.)

  • Requests to participate in studies or surveys

If I don’t respond within a week, feel free to send a follow-up email. I’ll genuinely do my best to write you back.

I’d also love to talk about:

  • Your business and how I can help it (and you) grow

  • My career and everything I’ve learned as a marketer and human

  • Leading a company as a female

  • Visiting Chicago

  • Horror and romance books, heist movies, gluten-free baking, New Girl and HIMYM, personal finance and investing, improv, and international travel
