My Story
I started writing professionally in college. After graduating, I took a full-time marketing job that lasted… six months before I quit to build my freelance writing business.
The following months of early entrepreneurship were the most terrifying and enlightening of my life.
I truly wouldn’t be who I am today without that season. (Sometimes, when things feel scary and impossible, I remind myself how I made it through those days.)
18 months after launching my freelance business, I was recruited to join a new content initiative at HubSpot. Over the two years that followed, I contributed hundreds of content pieces and tens of millions of views to the HubSpot blogs. I also created the first thought leadership initiative alongside the growth team.
After HubSpot, I moved into a Senior Content Marketing Manager role at Shopify where I helped grow the POS product through new content, strategic optimizations, and brand journalism. When I left Shopify nine months later, my team had boosted organic traffic by over 150%.
Today, I’m growing Omniscient Digital. We’re working on very cool projects alongside teams at SAP, Adobe, Loom, and more.
It’s my favorite adventure yet.
Through Omniscient, I also speak at IRL conferences and events, join virtual panels, contribute written guest content, and guest-star on industry podcasts.

A bit more about me:
I grew up on a lake in Kentucky and had my boater’s license before my driver’s license.
As part of my college senior capstone project, I started an IRL business. I sold it a couple of years later, and the buyers are still operating it today.
When I’m not working, you can find me reading, exercising, traveling, or spending time with my husband, friends, and/or cats.
